eSolutions was and is a great place to grow as a new designer. As part of a smaller design team, you really got a chance to jump on multiple projects and quickly learn a variety of skillsets. I had some great mentors that helped lay a foundation for my design work over the years. I learned a pile about the industry, how important it is to keep learning, and I owe my love of keyboard shortcuts to some great senior members of the team. I even got to try my hand at project management.

Outcomes

I started out on the 3D animation team doing modelling and animations. I learned to code HTML and CSS after being thrown on a website project with a three week deadline, and by the time I left was setting the standards for the front-end team. I worked on website design, visual identity design, elearning, online applications (even learned some actionscript), photography, annual reports, and more. I ended my tenure on the design team having learned a tonne and gaining some lifelong friends.
